Call Day #81, 8/19/14

School in the morning: Eleanor practices math facts using an online game. Oliver watches and flips through a library book.

Playing a history game that reviews some of what we've covered thus far. Oliver was so excited about rolling the dice. He became the official roller for everyone.

In the afternoon, we did some science. We are learning about the states of matter and got to blow up a balloon with the gas generated from putting Pop Rocks in a bottle of soda. (Also, note that homeschool learning doesn't require a uniform. You can even learn in your bathing suit!)

Papa brought home ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Oliver didn't really want to pick up the cold, messy ice cream sandwich.

Much happier when given a fork.
