Call Day #6, 8/1/13

We ate breakfast outside and Eleanor wanted to watch the hummingbirds up close.

I had quite the helper this morning!  She turned clothes right side out AND wanted to spray the stains for me.

Meanwhile, Claire entertained Oliver.  We can get a lot done around the house when everyone works together like this!

Ginger (dear friend from college who lives in town!) and her kids came to play with us this morning.  The box castle was a big hit.

This afternoon Eleanor read a longer, more involved book to me.  This was her first level 2 book in the I Can Read series.

Oliver is happy on his tummy.  He can pivot around but doesn't roll over.

We went to Sam's tonight.  Girls wanted Icees.  Knowing we go to Walmart and Sam's a lot, and that they know both these places sell them, I came up with a plan so I don't have to answer the Can-I-have-one question every time and so I can let them enjoy them occasionally.  They agreed to my proposal:  They can have one only at Sam's and only on our first trip there every month.  Yes, we now have The Icee Rule.
